Bountiful Blessings

My monthly card swap club met today.  Theme was fall and/or texture.  Everyone did a great job on their challenge.  So, here's mine.  I used the easel card technique.  Turned out really cute.  GO ME!!!!

Kindness Counts

I really like this technique.  It's not that bad with the folds when you have the SCOR-PAL.  Gotta love it.  I think I may make some of my Christmas cards out of this design.  Hum....maybe not.  We'll see.

Floral Delight

Created this card on the basis of trying to use supplies that I have not had the chance to use yet.  I really like this card. Because I am OCD, I wasn't sure if I like that fact that the Top Note was cut in half, but I really love this card.  I cased this card from Beccabooscrapper. Thanks Becca.

UPSY DAISY! Another Card Topper!

Another card topper for a friend.  That Razzleberry Lemonade DP is great.  I can't get enough of it.  I cut the sentiment out with the scallop oval punch and the bigger oval was cut with my cricut.  The topper is also a design from the Storybook cartridge.  This cartridge has so many images to choose from for toppers.  I'M LOVIN' IT!!!!

BABY ON BOARD!!!!

My friend is having a little girl.  She has been battling cancer and is taking a huge chance of giving life to someone. She is so high spirited and you wonder how, in all that you are going through, do you have the strength and energy to keep on giving.  She has two beautiful children now that I know will be a great help to her and the new little one.  So, here's a card I made for her for the upcoming arrival of her precious little girl.  I am going ALL out with these toppers.  I'm going to include a gift card holder on the inside.

Thanking a Friend

I created this card from the card topper technique.  I cut the card at 4 1/4 x 8 1/2 and decorated  with Razzleberry Lemonade designer paper and stamp the saying with Sweet Little Sentiments.  The topper was cut with my cricut expression using the Storybook Cartridge.  LOVING THE CRICUT!!!!

CHRISTMAS BEFORE CHRISTMAS

Well, the holidays are vastly approaching.  I've started on a few samples for this year, but not too excited with what I've come up with.  I'll post these and see what you think.  I believe I can get them looking a little more festive than they appear now.  They're a little boring to me.  We'll see.

GO GREEN AND USE THOSE OLD PAPERS!!!!!

My friend came back from serving over in Iraq about a month ago or so and he had a little cook out, so I decided to bring a few little favors.  I just LOVVVVVVE favors.  I think every party should have some.  Well, check these out.  I used the sour cream packet technique.  It's super easy and quick to put together.  Don't forget your super duper tacky tape so they don't fall apart and the crimper.  Got to have the crimper for texture.  ENJOY!!!

ADDING ON!!!!

Well, it has been quite a while since I've been here, but it's pretty hectic.  Schools back in and moving swiftly towards Christmas.  I'm amazed at how fast time flies.  I've promised shots from my craft room so here's a pic of the curtains I made.  I purchased the curtains from Wal-Mart and altered the top section with this fabulous fabric I bought from my favorite fabric store in Austin, Interior Fabrics.  Gotta love it!  So, tell me what you think.

MY CRAFT ROOM IS ROCKING!!!!!

OMG!!!!  My craft room is coming along.  Finished my curtains two days ago and completed the top part of a table that I refurbished.  It is awesome.  When I get it closer to where I want it I will post pics.  I'll probably give you guys a sneak peek when I get home tomorrow from trying to get my classroom together.  Yeah, it's about that time AGAIN!

CRAFT ROOM BLUES....

Hello Bloggers:
I have been painting my craft room so that I can finally get it to that stage of total creativity.  I have painted it a beautiful blue color.  I will be posting my final pics when I get it all together.  Wish me luck.  I don't have much time being that I will be back at work on about 2 weeks.  I guess getting the painting part out the way was the easy part.  All I have to do now is put everything in.  Until next time...

Wedding Bliss

Designed this card for a love theme swap. The card was cut out with the Potpourri Basket Cricut Cartridge. The bride and groom die cut is also from this cartridge. I cut this card in black and white so that I could cut out the white swirl to paste on the black swirl to give some contrast. The stamp is from the $1.00 bin at Michael's and the DP and ribbon is from Hobby Lobby.

Friendship Is So Important

I created this card for a card swap.  The theme was bling, bling.  So, I placed small rhinestones in the middle of the flowers on the branches.  The circle branch was cut with the cricut expression from the StoryBook Cartridge.  The background in Green Galore was embossed with the circle folder from Cuttlebug.  I used the ticket punch to give a little edge on the corners of the only orange and green galore mats.  The DP is Rainbow Sherbert.  I really like this card.  At first I wasn't too king about it, but it's pretty neat.  I'll try this layout with some other DP and see what it turn out to look like.  Thanks for visiting.  I'll try to keep up with my blog for now on.

Doggy Love

Kenobe is my little man.  He is definitely spoil.  My little sister says he thinks he's a real boy.  To me, he is.  Sometimes I think he takes it too far.  I was looking for him one day and found him laying on my pillow.  He actually had his head laying on my pillow.  I couldn't believe this.  So, I had to take a picture of this, because my friends wouldn't believe me.

Soccer Fan Treat Toppers

Hello Bloggers.  I created this topper for one of my students who was having a summer birthday.  She absolutely LOVES soccer and Texas A&M.  So, I created these little treat bags for her.  I used the white lunch bags from Wal-Mart and cut them down, created the topper and tied it all together with soccer ribbon.  I created the tag using the Wilton Tags and she was so excited when she saw her name printed on the tags.  She had a ball.  All of her friends are Longhorn Fans so this was a kicker for her.

Graduation Gift Card Holder

My friend received her degree in Education and aspire to become a teacher, so I thought this would be a cute gift card holder.  I told her that this would be the smallest backpack she'd carry once she started teaching.  She thought it was the cutest.  I forgot to add the ribbons on the front flap.  This was my first time making the backpack and I made it in an hour.  It was really hard, but i'll try again, because it is the cutest.

M&M Chocolate Favors

These were also made for the same wedding.  She wanted to use green and chocolate M&M to go with her theme.  I cut the toppers at 4" and folded at 2", scalloped the edges, used MS Word to create the labels, and placed them on a scalloped circle.  They were really cute.

Apple and Chocolate Wedding Favors

I made these wedding favors for a lady in my church.  Her wedding was apple and chocolate.  I used the Cricut Design Studio to add the couples initials and the hearts to the flap of the favor.  I scored the CS to make a little box, added a small candy bag filled with kisses and pulled it all together with ribbon.  They were absolutely divine.

Lady Bug Friendship

Created this card for a card swap.  We had to use punches, so I created a lady bug with 1 1/4 circle punches for the body, 3/4" for the head, and 1/8" punches for the spots.  Not really hard to make.  I also used my Storybook Cartridge to create the background.

A Little Under the Weather

My ex-AP is under the weather, so I created this card in hopes of picking up her spirits.

It's My Friends 36th Birthday

I created this Friend word book for a friend who turned 36. Yeah, I know, turned is past tense and I am a few days late, but I'm sure she will love it when she gets it.
